Account and sign-in details, website submissions, reviews, votes, collection activity, and contact form fields (name, email, subject, message) may be processed. Limited technical data may be used to prevent abuse.
Purposes
We use data to operate the platform, review submissions, process interactions, respond to requests, maintain security and improve the service.
Cookieless aggregate pageviews
We count total public-page views with the page path (without query parameters), five-minute time bucket and, when available, only the external referring domain. This count does not use cookies, visitor IDs or browser fingerprinting and does not link pages to individuals. Aggregate counts are retained for up to 90 days.
Optional visitor analytics
With your explicit consent, SMOZIN stores visited page paths, pageview times, referring domains, traffic sources, engagement duration and a daily pseudonymous visitor identifier on its own server. Raw IP addresses, email addresses, full referrer URLs and search terms are not stored. Analytics data are deleted after at most 90 days. You can change your choice using the Change analytics preferences button on the Cookie Policy page.
External services
External links, optional third-party integrations and Google sign-in are governed by their providers’ own policies.
Retention and security
Records are retained as long as reasonably necessary for their purpose and applicable obligations. Reasonable technical and organizational measures are used.
